On Saturday, April 25, 2009 seven crew members spent seven and a half hours cleaning the horse and hiking trails of fallen trees and sticks. They also trimmed back trees that had crept onto the paths and carved drainage channels to prevent too much flooding on flood-prone trail areas. It was a warm, yet comfortable day, disturbed only by a thunderstorm around noon. At that time, the volunteers were just finishing a delicious lunch provided by Camp Innisfree’s staff. Upon the completion of this minor disturbance, all in attendance traveled out to finish their day’s work. Click here for pictures of their fabulous conservation activity.
